The label’s inaugural release unites contributions of 4 artists, with a common ground of techy, playfully modern-sounding tracks with a serious edge and a decent amount of bleeps.
The A-Side opens with a springy, chirpy, minimal tech groover by Berlin-based Rudolf C. It has a light, yet discernible shuffle that drives the track towards a smooth and sunny vibe.
Tristan Arp from Mexico is draggin us into water with his captivating aquatic breakbeat groover. At times meditative, at times hectic, it keeps the mind busy with bubbles and waves.
On the flipside, things move forward at a higher pace.
De Lichting co-founder and Amsterdam-based queniv is teleporting us into a darker environment with a minimal-ish, electro-ish tech nightmare with a merciless groove and little relief.
O-Wells, Die Orakel regular, rounds off the EP with an euphoric, light and choppy, garage-ish track with a restrained, suspenseful energy that only gets unleashed towards the end.
