Lucy launched her acting career in the mid-’80s, making her debut as Lily Walsh in the popular soap opera “As the World Turns” (1985). The following year, she portrayed Milly, one of her most memorable roles, in Nick Castle’s award-winning fantasy romantic-drama film “The Boy Who Could Fly”, co-starring Jay Underwood and Bonnie Bedelia.
The film tells a heart-warming story about an autistic boy who dreams of flying, and Lucy’s character becomes close friends and finds a way to escape the unpleasant reality.
